At ‘The View’, chef Giampaolo Zhan gives voice to his idea of cooking as a form of art and emotion. Born in 1992 in Rome, Giampaolo Zhan has turned his curiosity for ingredients and the art of taste into a high-level profession. At only 19 years old, he graduated from the school ‘A Tavola con lo Chef’, where he met master Giuseppe Amato, who introduced him to the world of haute cuisine. His path took shape in kitchens of excellence such as Heinz Beck's La Pergola (three Michelin stars), and then continued in prestigious settings such as Sa' Posentu in Sardinia, Metamorfosi in Rome and several luxury hotels in Italy and abroad.
Chef Zhan brings to the table a culinary experience that combines aesthetics, technique and passion: a journey through authentic flavours and unexpected combinations, all framed by the evocative view that gives the restaurant its name.
